Description
Reporting directly to the CFO, your key responsibilities will be:
Development Projects:
- Establish entities (ABNs and TFNs), bank accounts, and accounting software.
- Reconcile ledger to Estate Master feasibility monthly.
- Issue Capital Calls on a monthly basis.
- Track and record equity payments.
- Assist in recording and reporting project costs to budget.
- Review monthly trial balances and reconciliations.
- Assist in assessing Indirect Tax treatment for each project.
- Work with Analyst to determine investor project returns and communicate with appropriate parties.
- Management accounts and reports:
- Assist in preparing quarterly reports for presentation to directors for each entity.
- Intercompany loans:
- Review all intercompany loans between entities monthly.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts for all operating entities.
- Assist in integrating forecasts into management accounts.
- Actively monitor cash flow for all businesses to ensure requirements are met.
- Bank borrowings:
- Assist with period reviews with each bank.
- Prepare calculations to ensure banking covenants are met.
- Assist with management of construction funding models.
- End of Financial Year (for external accountants):
- Engage with external accountant for tax planning prior to the end of the financial year.
- Review year-end reconciliations and provide to External Accountants.
- Manage preparation and lodgement of Financial Statements and Tax Returns promptly after 30 June.
- Liaise with CFO regarding Div 7A loans calculations and record in relevant entities.
- Review and reconcile entity annual financials against in-house software.
- Backup software programs and store off-site/cloud where applicable.
Profile
You will be a CA or CPA qualified candidate who is either working for a Accounting firm or for another company where you have developed broad accounting experience.
