Are you an experienced Financial Accountant seeking an exciting opportunity in the stunning Noosa region? Look no further! Hays, in partnership with a leading hospitality provider, is thrilled to announce a vacancy for a Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team.
Your new role
- Collaborate with Department Managers to create annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Ensure accurate financial data is provided to the General Manager and owners.
- Oversee and enhance financial systems to streamline processes.
- Implement policies and maintain effective internal controls.
- Timely completion of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Work closely with Department Managers to improve departmental profitability.
- Represent the Financial Controller in Department Head meetings while maintaining confidentiality.
What you'll need to succeed
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry is essential.
- Hold a relevant degree.
- CA or CPA qualification preferred but not mandatory.
- Confident in learning new finance packages and strong Excel skills
