Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage an Financial Accountant. This position is located in their busy SA office for an initial 3-month contract.
About the PositionResponsible for the efficient and effective accounting and reporting of the Corporation’s fixed assets to meet management and statutory requirements.
Duties
- Process fixed asset additions
- Manage work in progress inbox
- Prepare asset related balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the Financial Governance team with ad hoc analysis, reconciliations and journals
as required.
Requirements/Skills
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Business/Finance or appropriate discipline and CPA/CA qualifications or working towards CPA/ CA qualifications
- Good knowledge and experience of financial applications, general ledger and other accounting modules in an integrated financial system environment
- Demonstrated experience in asset accounting and reporting
