What's so exciting about this role?
Sitting within our Financial Control team, in this role you will work on financial control activities and change projects, which support our international growth aspirations and improve the efficiency and robustness of existing financial control activities. The key projects which this role will be responsible for includes the role out of finance activities for the humm business in Australia, embedding humm’s partnerships, improving data governance frameworks supporting statutory and regulatory reporting. The person is also required to be an integral part of the BAU team, delivering the financial data and reporting on a monthly basis.
What does an average day look like?
No day is average at hummgroup, but here’s an idea of what you will be responsible for:
- Supporting financial control activities for the humm business in Australia, including testing and implementing new product systems, developing reporting, delivering the monthly results and balance sheet reconciliations. This covers mainly receivables, payroll and operating expenses.
- Building and delivering efficient, quality reporting used for internal and external purposes.
- Providing back up support for key finance activities such as determining monthly loan loss provision, product control for key products and project accounting.
- Performing data analytics to pro-actively assess the financial integrity of humm’s results.
- Delivering simplification, automation and process improvement.
- Support Senior Finance Manager/Financial Controller on ad-hoc tasks and projects.

- 3+ years experience in similar role (financial services experience viewed favourably)
