My client is a dedicated and passionate not-for-profit organisation committed to making a positive impact on their community. Their mission is to provide essential services and support to those in need. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join their team in a part-time capacity on an initial 3-month temporary basis.
Your new role
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations reporting into the CEO. You’ll work closely with our leadership team to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient financial processes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while utilising your accounting expertise.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be degree qualified and ideally have completed either the CA or CPA program (or close to completion). Not for profit, prior experience will be highly regarded but not essential. You will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills and a passion for contributing to the community and making a difference.
What you'll get in return
This position will commence immediately in a temporary capacity for an initial term of 3 months with the possibility of extension after EOFY. On offer are above award hourly rates, the position is required in the office and can be either 3 full days per week or spread over school hours.
