Job Title: Financial Analyst Location: Adelaide, SA Salary: $115,000 - $150,000 + super (depending on experience) Position Overview: We are looking for a talented Financial Analyst who will play a key role in providing insightful financial analysis and strategic guidance to support decision-making within our clients’ manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and senior management to drive financial performance and contribute to the achievement of our business objectives. Responsibilities: Conduct detailed financial analysis of manufacturing operations, including variance analysis, cost analysis, and profitability analysis. Develop and maintain financial models to forecast manufacturing costs, analyse pricing strategies, and evaluate capital investment opportunities. Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing efficiency, capacity utilization, and inventory management to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Collaborate with operations teams to analyse production processes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review, highlighting key insights and recommendations. Support the annual budgeting process by providing accurate and timely financial data, forecasts, and analysis. Assist in the development of financial strategies and initiatives to enhance profitability, mitigate risks, and drive sustainable growth. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in manufacturing finance to provide relevant insights and recommendations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CA or CPA preferred. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable insights. Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software.
