Job Title:Financial Analyst
Location: Adelaide, SA
Salary: $115,000 - $150,000 + super (depending on experience)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented Financial Analyst who will play a key role in providing insightful financial analysis and strategic guidance to support decision-making within our clients’ manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and senior management to drive financial performance and contribute to the achievement of our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis of manufacturing operations, including variance analysis, cost analysis, and profitability analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial models to forecast manufacturing costs, analyse pricing strategies, and evaluate capital investment opportunities.
- Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing efficiency, capacity utilization, and inventory management to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with operations teams to analyse production processes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Support the annual budgeting process by providing accurate and timely financial data, forecasts, and analysis.
- Assist in the development of financial strategies and initiatives to enhance profitability, mitigate risks, and drive sustainable growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in manufacturing finance to provide relevant insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
- CA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable insights.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
