YOUR ROLE

As the Head of Finance, your pivotal role is integral to ensuring financial integrity and compliance within Bunzl Australia & New Zealand (BANZ) and Interpath Services. You will spearhead Financial Accounting, Reporting, and Governance, championing transformational change across the organization. Your responsibilities include enhancing financial reporting and analysis, maintaining the ERP system, and implementing rigorous controls to mitigate risks and uphold compliance with Bunzl Policy & IFRS. Moreover, your leadership will be vital in fostering operational efficiency and productivity improvements within the finance function. This position, transitioning from contract to full-time, is being advertised in accordance with company requirements.

Here are the key aspects of your role:

• Lead Financial Accounting, Reporting, and Governance for BANZ and Interpath Services in alignment with company policy.
• Drive transformational change by integrating project methodology and integrity into business processes.
• Enhance financial reporting, analysis, and ERP system maintenance to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Implement comprehensive controls to mitigate risks and support operational efficiency.
• Foster talent development within the finance team to ensure stability and continuous improvement.

ABOUT YOU

Your background as a qualified CPA or CA, coupled with your proven track record in financial leadership roles, positions you as an ideal candidate for this position. Your extensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, internal control principles, and relevant legislation equips you to navigate complex financial landscapes effectively. You have a demonstrated ability to identify improvement opportunities and drive change, along with experience in building and retaining high-performing teams. Your excellent communication, time management, and ethical conduct skills are essential in this role. You thrive in dynamic environments, embrace responsibility, and contribute positively to a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. Here are the key qualities we're looking for:

• Qualified CPA or CA with a proven track record in financial leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards, internal control principles, and relevant legislation.
• Demonstrated ability to identify improvement opportunities and execute change.
