The Position:
This is a fantastic career opportunity for a hands-on, proactive and commercially focused leader to join and contribute to the Senior Leadership Team. Reporting to the Managing Director and leading a small but growing team, your diverse responsibilities will include:
- Financial management, forecasting & reporting
- Contract review
- Cashflow, payroll and treasury management
- Working closely with operational leaders in monitoring and improving business performance
- Oversight of the outsourced IT function
- Driving a transformation program encompassing systems, processes, and policy.
About You:
You will be a commercially focused and process-driven accounting professional who enjoys the financial and operational aspects of business and is excited to join this fast-evolving company.
A self-starter who can work autonomously, as well as part of a team to make a positive contribution, you will have the desire and potential to grow and develop your career, aspiring to become a CFO in the medium term. Ideally, you will possess:
- Qualified CA / CPA / ACMA or equivalent
- At least 3 years’ experience in a hands-on managerial role
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong working knowledge in the utilisation of Accounting Systems and Excel
- A high level of integrity and confidentiality
- Previous experience in fast-paced, service delivery environments
