About the Role
As the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all financial aspects of the operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and driving strategic financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with specific industry experience in energy, infrastructure, or construction. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Financial Reporting including month end reporting, Board reporting and statutory financial reporting.
- Financial Planning & Analysis, including collaborating with senior management and project teams to prepare consolidated budgets & forecasts.
- Develop and implement financial models to support corporate level strategic planning and decision-making.
- Financial Management Strategy including input into the future design of the finance function.
- Cash Flow Management including oversight of the treasury function including compliance reporting, cash flow management, interest income and adhoc analysis of future projects as required.
- Maintain robust internal controls and be accountable for Accounts Payable, Tax, Audit, IT and Payroll.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or related field and CA/CPA qualified.
- Proven track record of success in the energy, infrastructure, or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a commitment to driving continuous improvement.
