Responsibilities will include:
- Financial management, reporting and analysis, including the preparation of accurate and timely monthly results and ad-hoc reports.
- Preparation of financial statements, including BAS statements.
- Participating in budgeting processes.
- Overseeing administration and general payroll duties, including timesheets, commissions and bonuses.
- Working closely with multiple stakeholders and the Autopact Head Office team.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and financial regulations.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Initiate and maintain effective control procedures to ensure all assets, liabilities, income, and expenses are accurately recorded.
- Analyse and control expenditures of all departments to ensure compliance with budgetary requirements.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
- A qualification in Accounting will be highly regarded.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar financial accounting role is essential.
- Prior work experience in a Dealership setting and ERA experience will be advantageous.
- Experience in report production and analysis of reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
- Extreme proficiency with all advanced Excel functions.
- The ability to be self-motivated with proven time management skills to schedule workload to focus on key priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical mind with high attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
