This Financial Controller opportunity is with Cyclopharm (ASX: CYC) our parent company.
About the role
Reporting to the CFO and with a dotted line to the CEO, this role provides an entry point into a successful and high-growth business. This is a unique opportunity in its diversity of scope because you will lead the company secretarial function including board reporting as well as the half year and annual reporting processes. You’ll also take the lead on some strategically important projects.
This role is suited to a CA / CPA, with hands on experience preparing annual reports / financial statements and exposure managing company secretarial duties within an ASX environment.
This can be a full-time or 4 days p/week permanent position and is based in Kingsgrove (parking available). This role is based on site, and you will work with a collaborative, vibrant and supportive team.
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for all Board/Committee reporting, timetabling and scheduling.
- Prepare and lodge all company secretarial filings including with the ASX.
- Lead the preparation of the Half Year and Annual Reports including coordination with external auditors.
- Support the business on some strategically important projects.
- Own the management of the R&D tax concessions, LTIP shares and keep abreast of government grants.
Desired skills and experience:
- CA / CPA qualified with +5 years post qualified experience.
- Experience in company secretarial within an ASX environment.
- Experience preparing half year and annual reports.
- Strong technical acumen and financial reporting skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Systematic, organised and process focused.
- Experience working with executives and the board.
- Working knowledge of Oracle NetSuite.
