The business provides over 180-200 programs providing multitude of services to enrich and help peoples lives within the community. The business provides Home Care Assistance programs, Help assistance in call centres, financial assistance for the vulnerable and many more programs to name a few.
The Financial Controller will be equal parts of being commercially sound coming from a large NFP organisation and is familiar with transformational changes within the community sector 'For-Purpose' and leading a technically sound finance team.
The position reports to the CFO directly.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Practicing Christian with Christian Faith Values
* Strong preference and suitability within complex NFP organisations within a T/O of $100m
* Excellent Communication skills and style, partnering with all stakeholders
* Strongly focused in delivering and negotiating commercial outcomes
* Proven capacity for more commercial approaches to businesses (more than technical)
* Abreast of business activities such as - reporting, accessing and decision making in a transformational environment
* Thinks broadley and laterally through challenges
* Mentor the Finance team
* Good tenure with approx 4-5 yrs within a reputable NFP organisation
Qualifications:
CA or CPA qualified
15 Years of continual work experience in Australia
