About the Role:
As the Financial Controller, you will report to the CFO and play a crucial role in overseeing the daily finance operations. You'll work closely with the CFO, Senior Leadership Team, General Managers, and other key stakeholders including Board members to provide timely and accurate financial information for commercial decision-making.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Leading and managing the finance team, including hands-on support and training
- Streamlining finance functions through continuous process improvement
- Handling month-end financial accounting and reporting with variance analysis
- Overseeing payroll, accounts receivable, billing, and payable functions
- Understanding customer requirements to enhance support for the business
- Identifying potential cost savings and providing recommendations
- Developing financial models to support business activities and initiatives
- Managing compliance obligations, including payroll compliance, income tax return, and FBT return
- Leading and preparing grant applications
- Leading and SME for finance related projects including system implementations
- Liaising with external auditors and preparing audit papers as needed
About You:
We're looking for a finance professional with proven experience in leading transactional and financial services with a hands-on approach. Your ability to manage finances and risk, along with your expertise in productivity, will be highly valued. You have a proven track record in people management and are an effective communicator, building strong relationships across the business.
Additionally, you possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, always striving to find efficient solutions. Your CA or CPA qualification, tech-savviness, and strong Excel skills will further complement your abilities.
