The Soil Conservation Service (SCS), Finance and Reporting team are looking for a results-driven professional to work in a commercially focused business environment, and:
- Lead a small team of individuals focussed on accounting and administrative tasks.
- Provide financial and business admin support to SCS operational teams.
- Manage and coordinate the collation of information, prepare financial reports, and make recommendations to Team Leaders.
- Develop and manage high quality internal and external working relationships and networks through effective communication, negotiation and issues management.
The SCS is committed to becoming the most trusted provider of specialist end-to-end services in environmental consulting, conservation earthworks, program delivery, and project management across NSW, and the provision of consistent administration processes and focus on improving business efficiency is one of the key ways this is achieved.
To be successful you need to be someone who has proven relevant experience in a commercial environment, with accounting and/or finance experience and who can successfully lead a team to deliver high-quality business administration support across the SCS.
The balance between leading, developing, and guiding people and delivering results is critical to this role – so you’ll need to be adept at combining these to be able to successfully deliver outcomes suitable for all.
