ABOUT THE POSITION:
The primary responsibility of the First Peoples Education Programs Producer will be to develop and deliver Education Programs to meet the learning needs of diverse education audiences; including school students, international and tertiary students, and teachers, as well as cultural programs for indigenous students to Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre.

Experience developing and delivering learning programs aligned with the Victorian Curriculum,
High-level communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers and colleagues
Connection to First Peoples communities
Experience co-ordinating projects
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a passionate and creative educator.
Some of the key duties include:
Research, develop and deliver curriculum-based programs for education groups to Bunjilaka Cultural Centre in accordance with Museums Victoria's objectives and priorities, and aligned with current Department of Education curriculum.

Develop and advocate quality teaching and learning programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students through research and by engaging with a broad range of stakeholders including First Peoples communities, schools, government, the education sector and First Peoples community-controlled organisations.
Develop and deliver Professional Learning programs and resources for teachers
Develop and deliver virtual learning programs for students and teachers using a range of digital tools
Regularly evaluate Education Programs and analyse student and teacher feedback for continuous improvement and for reporting purposes.
Identify and monitor external education sector changes and insights, including best practice in First Nations education, truth telling and social justice, and provide advice to staff and senior management.
NOTE: This position is only open to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants in accordance with relevant Commonwealth, State and Territory legislation.
OTHER INFORMATION
This is a part-time position at 0.6 FTE (3 days per week) fixed term of 3 years. The salary on offer is $92,332 based on grade (pro rata) + 11% superannuation.
