Position Overview
We are seeking a Fitness Studio Administrator & Sales Coordinator with flexibility for early mornings or late afternoons. In this role, you will provide essential support to our team, overseeing the administrative and sales functions of the studio, ensuring the smooth operation of our services, and contributing to our goal of delivering excellent customer service.
We ideally seek someone who is happy to work between 12 - 16 hours per week. This may look like 4 x 3.5hr shifts per week in a casual / part time role.
Responsibilities
- Foster a strong community feel among our members, trainers, and staff.
- Manage and coordinate schedules for administration staff and classes.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to member inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Manage new member sign-ups, handle payments, and membership renewals.
- Oversee inventory and assist in fitness equipment and merchandise orders.
- Coordinate with trainers and staff to drive membership sales and retention.
- Regularly review and update administrative systems and procedures to ensure efficiency.
- Ensure cleaners are doing a good job as well as tend to daily spot cleans in the studio.
- Ensure other casual administration staff are adhering to their roles and responsibilities.
- Be involved in using social media platform Instagram to get ads, reels, stories and posts updated frequently.
Requirements
- A strong interest in and understanding of the fitness industry.
- Previous experience in administration, sales, or customer service role.
- Experience in using MindBody will be favourable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- A customer-focused attitude, with the ability to engage with members and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Possess a “Can Do” attitude and get things done.
- Experience in using Canva and Trello is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite or equivalent.
