As Victoria's community grows so does FRV service provision. Our Fleet team is a busy and integral part of our community services.
To manage the growing team FRV is looking for a new Fleet Manager.
As our new FleetManager your responsibility is to manage and oversee the Light Fleet and Fleet Planning teams.
Reporting to the Director – Fleet Services you will provide strategic fleet management and operational support of the motor car fleet and the planning support for Fire and Rescue Appliances and equipment.
Your functions include:
Managing the people, systems and processes to ensure there is a sufficient fleet of well-maintained cars for FRVs operational, technical and corporate personnel.
Managing the capital projects for the delivery of new car replacement in line with budget targets.
leading a dedicated team to maintain a high level of customer service through car fleet related helpdesk inquires.
Providing strategic fleet Preventative Maintenance programs and replacement schedules for both Fire and Rescue Appliances and the car fleet.
Provide regular reports monitoring maintenance, utilisation and asset management life cycles for both Fire and Rescue Appliances and the car fleet.

What you will need to succeed in this role
To be successful in this position, you will be an experienced leader and fleet management professional. and ideally have:
- Extensive automotive fleet management experience
- Certificate IV in Planning, Business Management (or relevant discipline)
- Competency in SAP Maintenance Management module (user / administrator)
Trade Qualifications (Certificate III minimum) would also be highly regarded.
