Job description

The Ateco Group is the largest independent, privately-owned motor vehicle distributor in Australia. In the Australian market we represent LDV, Maserati, Ram Trucks and Renault, wholesaling over 40,000 vehicles in the last 12 months. We have a history spanning more than 30 years in developing and delivering automotive brands to the Australian and New Zealand market, covering luxury vehicles, performance pick up trucks and economical commercial and passenger vehicles.

An exciting opportunity exists to join our Group Fleet team as Fleet Sales Manager for Renault. Reporting to the Group Fleet Manager this position plays a crucial role working with large corporate buyers, the Renault dealer network across Australia and the Group Fleet team to help acheive the brand's Fleet Sales objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop, build and maintain relationships with existing Renault fleet customers and related business’ across Australia.
  • Identify and initiate potential/prospective business relationships to grow brand recognition and sales.
  • Meet with major customers on a regular basis ensuring their needs are met and they are aware of all new product updates.
  • Provide product presentations and training online and in person to current clients and potential clients as required.

Dealer Network Relationship Management:

  • Provide support and guidance to the dealer network Fleet Sales teams, assisting their Fleet Sales efforts.
  • Attend meetings and presentations with dealer fleet teams and current or potential fleet customers when required.
  • Routinely meet with Regional Managers and Dealer Network to discuss Dealer Fleet activity and opportunities.
  • Provide training on existing and new product as required to dealership fleet teams. 

What we are looking for: 

  • Extensive current experience in Fleet Sales either within a dealer group or with another automovie brand.
  • Experience in using all Microsoft Office tools, intermediate excel and powerpoint skills required.
  • Current industry knowledge and understanding. 
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, well-developed time management, organizational and computer skills, and ability to work autonomously in a team environment.
