About this Role:
Our growing company is looking for a talented and results-driven Supervisor to manage workflow in different locations. The ideal candidate should have experience organizing work groups, coaching employees, monitoring progress, enforcing rules, and ensuring quality compliance. You must possess strong communication and leaderships skills as well as the ability to resolve workplace issues effectively. The Supervisor will be excited about guiding, training and supporting their team members and is highly motivated to help our company fulfill its larger mission. The successful candidate will be people-centred, supportive and flexible in order to get the most of his/her team. You should also be a natural leader that’s focused on inspiring employees to own their work and deliver better results.
In this role, you will be:.
- Supervising, evaluating, and training new and current team members
- Completing time sheets approvals if necessary & a filling out reports
- Organizing and coordinating operations to ensure maximum efficiency
- Ensuring employees adhere to company policies and standards
- Delegating work to employees, tracking progress and providing constructive feedback throughout projects
- Conducting performance reviews, motivating team members, and creating strategies to boost productivity
- 1-year previous experience with leading a team is a MUST.
- Strong background in Fine Dining, Functions and Events with end-to-end service
- Solid understanding of hospitality procedures and best practices
- Experience handling customer complaints when necessary
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Have a passion for people and the hospitality industry
- RSA certificate and Australian police check
Hourly rate - Award rate plus extras based on your experience, performance, client feedback and SixthSense hospitality demonstrated.
Availability & Reliability – to be available Monday to Sunday is preferred. Depending on business demands, you are required to be flexible, and you must be on time for your shifts.
