25 hours per week Mon-Fri 
$27-$29.74 per hour

One Tree Defence Unit Coral Sea is located in Townsville, North Queensland. The 54 placed long day care provides care for 0-6 years old, operating 6:15am to 5:45pm. The experienced leadership team have created beautiful natural outdoor spaces where children flourish.

What you’ll bring:

• Food handling/safety certificate desirable but not essential;
• A valid working with children card (or ability to obtain);
• Friendly and positive attitude;
• Excellent time management and verbal communication skills;
• Previous experience working in a childcare setting will be highly regarded but not essential; and
• Certificate III in early education and care desirable but not essential.
• Allergy knowledge is essential.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare meals for large groups and meet special dietary requirements of the children with allergies;
• Menu planning, budget, and ordering;
• Maintain the environment in line with One Tree’s Food Safety Program;
