We currently have the opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Food Services Manager to manage the provision of a high quality food service to our residents at Blue Haven. In this role you will also develop the profile and economic sustainability of Barroul House Cafe, and identify opportunities for further business development.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent
- Extensive experience in the food service industry
- Demonstrated management experience in a food service environment with the ability to supervise staff and leading teams
- The ability to analyse data and report on performance including financial indicators
- The ability to work flexible hours if required
- Experience in rostering and training
- Proficient in MS Office
About you:
You will be passionate about providing quality service in aged care. Your customer service and communication skills which will be excellent and help you to lead and organise your team in an exceptional manner, and negotiate and resolve conflict if required.
We offer:
- Permanent full time position, 38 hours per week
- An attractive remuneration package commencing from $70,811.52 commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience
- Plus 11% superannuation
- Plus applicable penalty rates
- The ability to salary sacrifice up to $9,009 in pre-tax earnings plus $2,550 meal and entertainment card (for eligible employees)
