About the Role: As the General Manager, you will be the cornerstone of our management and administration, ensuring that our strategic plans are not just visions but realities. Your leadership will steer the organisation through day-to-day management, resource allocation, and implementation of our business and operational plans. Your efforts will ensure our competitions are effective and aligned with Football Australia regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and lead the strategic direction provided by the Board.
- Manage and lead a diverse team, promoting a culture of excellence.
- Foster strong relationships with board members, club executives, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
- Drive marketing and promotional efforts to bolster the zone's growth and visibility.
- Ensure the organisation's financial health through effective budget management and pursuit of funding opportunities.
- Uphold the highest standards of governance and compliance across all operations.
What We Require:
- Proven experience in a senior management role, ideally within sports or a similar field.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A strategic thinker with a robust capacity for problem-solving and innovation.
- Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
- Current Class 1A driver's license.
- NSW working with Children Check.
