An exciting opportunity is currently available for an enthusiastic Front of House Coordinator to join our Property and Workplace team in Brisbane on a full-time, 6 month Fixed-term contract.
The Front of House Coordinator is responsible for supporting Front of House premises in accordance with the requests from the Partnership group and the Property & Workplace Manager.
This role is ideal for someone who is looking to begin their career in a progressive firm that offers a supportive working environment with a commitment to career development. Reporting to the Property and Workplace Manager, your primary responsibility will be to assist with reception, setting up meeting rooms, catering when required and attending to reception email inboxes.

YOUR REGULAR TASKS WILL INCLUDE
Reception
- Meeting and greeting internal and external clients
- Assisting with client requests, whilst always displaying a high level of professionalism
- Work closely with the Business Development team on set ups for events ensuring all requests are met
- Ensure the meeting rooms are set up correctly and are tidy for all upcoming meetings with the necessary IT equipment in the room.
- Attend to and answer all emails sent to the Brisbane Reception inbox including (room bookings, video conferences / teleconferences, catering requests (liaising with catering staff) and preparing new starter induction packs)
- Proactively coordinate, record and maintain meeting room bookings and associated requirements
- Knowledgeable in meeting room capabilities and technologies and proactively assist to resolve queries and minor technical issues.
- Any responsibilities which may be required prior to Reception closure at 5 pm (e.g. switching off phones etc)
- Respond to all catering requests and room services in a timely manner, clarifying and confirming understanding of instructions where necessary
- Ensure staff kitchens are replenished daily with the required provisions as per the Opening Procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing crockery, glassware and catering equipment and storing them away in a hygienic organised manner
- Follow the closing procedures to ensure the facilities are left in an organised and hygienic manner
- Ensure all rooms are cleared of used crockery, glassware and catering equipment, to the uniform standard in a timely manner.
- Assist with catering events such cocktail parties, boardroom lunches, staff drinks nights and the various office functions when required. Flexibility around hours may be required.
