MoVida is looking for Front of House Manager at our original restaurant at 1 Hosier Lane Melbourne.
About MoVida
MoVida is a Spanish Tapas restaurant that has three venues in the Melbourne CBD and are run by Executive Chef Frank Camorra, who pioneered Spanish Cuisine in Melbourne. MoVida offers both modern and traditional Spanish food, in a warm and casual environment with professional service.
We are currently looking for a Front of House Manager at our original restaurant MoVida located at 1 Hosier Lane Melbourne. Our managers work closely with the owners, who also work in the business, to ensure that our teams deliver the food and service we are well known for.
Skills & Experience
Experience in managing a busy restaurant
Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and professional manner
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated experiences in training and managing staff
Attention to detail
An energetic and friendly personality
In depth knowledge of food and wine
Responsibilities
Managing the Front of House team including rostering and training staff
Overseeing service to ensure that it runs smoothly
Fostering a positive culture within the Front of House team
Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Developing a close working relationship with the Kitchen team
Managing budgets and expenses
This is a full time position and MoVida is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week so weekend work is required. We always ensure our staff have two consecutive days off, and there is flexibility in your roster.
