Located in the heart of Cairns City, the iconic Pullman Cairns International boasts impressive waterfront, or Mountain views for it's 324 rooms. With 13 conference spaces accompanying it's superior room count, the hotel is one of the largest in the region. The hotel's breathtaking three story lobby, decorated with marble flooring, and brilliant glass chandeliers, embodies the 5 Star luxury experience the Pullman Brand is renowned for.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team as a Front Office Allrounder. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support across various areas of our Front Office operations.

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring accuracy in reservations and payments.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously.
  • Assist with reservations, including booking rooms and providing information about hotel amenities and services.
  • Process payments, including cash, credit card, and other forms of payment.
  • Answer phone calls and redirect them to the appropriate department or person.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as managing emails, filing, and data entry.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
  • Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a passion for exceeding guest expectations.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer software, including MS Office and hotel management systems.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of multiple languages is an advantage.
