Front Office Coordinator / Dental Assistant all rounder
A career driven, passionate Dental all-rounder (Front Office and assisting duties) is needed for a state of the art, purpose-built dental practice located on the Sunshine Coast. You will be working up to Full Time hours and may be required to work one evening a week and occasional Saturday mornings. While experience is preferred, we will also consider a traineeship for a candidate with the right attitude.

About the role

Working up to a 76 hour/ 9 day fortnight, you will be jointly responsible for all the functions of the Front Office as well as occasional dental assisting according to rostering needs. You must be organised and take initiative in all aspects of patient care, treatment and appointment scheduling responsibilities in a timely manner. Your articulate communication and exceptional interpersonal skills will allow you to deliver first class customer service to our patients at the forefront of the business.
About you
You have:
- Experience working in a Dental Practice (Advantageous) – high level customer service skills are a must
- Excellent computer skills and experience in a fully computerised office - EXACT software knowledge a benefit
- Ability to maintain accurate records along with the management of appointment scheduling, and can proactively follow up contacts
- An understanding of treatment plans and reconciliation
- Immaculate presentation, highly articulate and relationship/customer orientated
- An outstanding phone manner
- Willingness to undertake training and education as well as adopting our processes
- Are a self-motivated individual with initiative and a keen eye for detail
- Exposure to general dentistry, orthodontics, sedation clinics and implants a benefit
- Ability to work under pressure and with a diverse range of people
- Cert III in dental assisting advantageous or a traineeship can be arranged for the right candidate.
