Heidi Scribe, for instance, transcribes consultations, generating clinical notes, documents, and outlining next-step actions. These tools are gradually being integrated into a platform poised to redefine healthcare delivery.The RoleWe are seeking a story point wizard; a skilled and versatile Full-Stack Software Developer to help us usher in safe and beautiful AI experiences to healthcare.The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment but can also work independently to deliver high-quality software features.What You'll DoWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code, with a focus on code structure design and scalability.Collaborate with the engineering team to solve challenging technical problems and foster rapid growth.Conduct research and implement industry-leading engineering practices.Work with microservices and Kafka or a similar framework.Ensure alignment between code structure and system design with best practices.Troubleshoot and debug software defects, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining application performance.Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.Lead and mentor junior engineers and team members on significant projects.If we'd worked with you in the last 6 weeks, you'd have:Managed backend engineering projects, ensuring reliable delivery with appropriate trade-offs.Contributed to defining our technical roadmap, and planning towards a distributed, service-oriented architecture.What You'll Need:Strong skills in Python & Next.js.Preferred experience with using LLMs to build Applications.Experience with both relational and non-relational databases.High standards for code quality, with a focus on delivering maintainable code.Experience in system design & code structure is highly desirable.Experience with AWS or other cloud services is beneficial.Strong sense of ownership, combined with solid problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, effectively communicating and coordinating with team members.Self-motivated and able to work independently, taking ownership of tasks and delivering high-quality results.If you answer 'NO' to these questions, this may not be the job for you:Are you based in Melbourne?Why Heidi?We specialize in crafting unconventional solutions to challenging problems, and we do it quickly.
