Position Overview: Function Coordinator
As a Functions Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating a wide range of functions and events, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and their guests. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating unforgettable events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences
- Coordinating event logistics, including venue setup & catering
- Managing event timelines and ensuring all elements run smoothly on the day
- Overseeing event staff and vendors to deliver high-quality service
- Handling client inquiries and providing excellent customer service throughout the event planning process
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Functions Coordinator or similar role in the events industry
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules
