About the Role:
As the Game Night & Events Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and executing the organisation's entire event calendar, centred around the Perth Wildcats season schedule and SEN (Sports Entertainment Network) activities. Your key duties and responsibilities will include:
Event Production Management:
- Overseeing the production of all events across the Wildcats and various WA SEN business units.
- Developing themed concepts and design elements for events, collaborating with the graphic design team and event theming partners.
Logistics and Operations:
- Coordinating equipment setup and pack-down, ensuring tasks are delegated and executed efficiently.
- Ensuring all event activations run smoothly and adhere to schedules.
- Liaising with venues to meet event requirements and communicate critical information effectively.
Entertainment and Audio-Visual Coordination:
- Planning and facilitating entertainment elements to enhance event experiences.
- Managing audio-visual components with suppliers to ensure seamless production.
Communication and Documentation:
- Developing core documentation and communicating details to stakeholders.
Financial Management:
- Managing budgets to meet organisational objectives and deliver profitable events.
- Conducting debrief meetings after each event to identify areas for improvement.
The ideal candidate we are looking for will have:
- Proven experience in event management, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
- Enthusiasm for sports and entertainment events, with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
