Our Opportunity
Due to internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated property professional to join our team at Realm Kangaroo Point as our new General Manager. In your new role you will ensure the smooth and successful running of this operation and provide leadership and strategic guidance to our established team.

The BTR complex consists of an impressive selection of 200 spacious 1, 2, and 3-bedroom penthouses and townhouses. What you will offer
- You will have extensive property management experience in one of the property sectors, preferably in a senior operations management role.
- Leasing experience preferred in either the residential, commercial or retail sectors.
- Exhibit a strong ability to deliver a high level of resident & customer experience
- A strong leader who is passionate about guiding, coaching, and mentoring your team to achieve excellence and deliver outstanding experiences for our residents and visitors.
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and be adaptable at exhibiting strategic intent in order to maximise property performance and deliver on KPI’s
- Comprehension of the key metrics that impact and grow the financial performance of the asset, using knowledge to drive revenue and continually improve resident experience.
- It’s important that you’re a strong communicator with a natural ability to build rapport and foster long term relationships.
Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Drive the strategic delivery and implementation of high-quality leasing journeys and successful leasing outcomes.
- Provide overall leadership, guidance, and direction to the property team, instilling a superior residential experience.
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and be adaptable at exhibiting strategic intent, in order to maximise property performance and deliver on KPIs
- Develop and maintain relationships with the client, head office, operations team, residents and other relevant stakeholders.
- Excellent communicator both verbally and written, with an ability to influence widely and collaborate cross functionally.
- Lead the preparation of budgets and reports in relation to the property including market commentary, forecast occupancy, room rates, income, and expenditure.
- Assist with the strategic planning including but not limited to community engagement and ancillary income.
- Overall responsibility for Facilities Management, working in conjunction with the on site maintenance manager
- Ensure compliance and that there are no major risks associated with public liability, fire and lift safety, essential services, non-essential services, staff, office and contractors.
- Accountability for ensuring the asset is expertly managed and maintained to a high quality of presentation and operation.
- Be thoroughly familiar with the management agreement and manage the property to achieve all associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Hold a current full QLD Real Estate License to conduct Real Estate Business
- National Police Check (completed within last 3 months), at your own cost
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia and New Zealand
