The Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) is a statutory body set up to combat and reduce the incidence of major crime and corruption in the public sector in Queensland. Its functions and powers are set out in the Crime and Corruption Act 2001.

We're looking for a highly talented senior executive with proven leadership experience to provide leadership and strategic direction to the the Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) to raise the standards of integrity and conduct in the Queensland public sector, and ensuring the corruption prevention work of the CCC is collaborative and insights-driven.
You will establish effective networks and work cooperatively with agencies across the public sector, including other oversight and law enforcement agencies, to deliver capability development initiatives that support corruption prevention outcomes within Queensland public sector agencies.

The Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) is an independent statutory body set up to combat and reduce the incidence of major crime and corruption in the public sector in Queensland. We investigate crime and corruption, and have oversight of the public sector including police. The CCC also has responsibility for restraining and recovering suspected proceeds of crime and administers Queensland's witness protection program.

About the role and you
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, as the General Manager of Strategy and Renewal, you will lead the development of strategies and plans that support the achievement of the CCC's strategic priorities.
You will also drive the delivery of strategic projects and ensure they meet their targets.
You will provide leadership and strategic direction across all CCC functions and influence a diverse set of clients and stakeholders.
You will professionally and personally exemplify integrity, courage, excellence and accountability and lead your highly engaged team to perform to their full potential.
- Function effectively as part of the executive leadership team to build strong internal partnerships by working strategically, collaboratively and respectfully with all teams across the CCC.
- Provide strategic oversight and lead the design of agile and robust governance systems to manage the portfolio, programs and major projects being delivered across the CCC.
- Drive innovation across the CCC, particularly by identifying and defining how technology and digitisation can be better leveraged to achieve the organisation's vision and strategic objectives.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships and networks with key stakeholders to ensure that the CCC is positioned appropriately to deliver on its strategic objectives.
- Develop and inspire a culture which fosters collaboration, evidence-based decision-making, innovation and performance orientation where people are passionate about their work and take personal accountability for their actions
- Ensure effective management and monitoring of budget and human resources in accordance with statutory responsibilities, CCC priorities, policies and procedures.
