SCOPE
The General Manager is accountable for providing overall strategic vision, leadership and sales management for Braemac in Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting directly to the CEO, the position is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation and measurement of strategic plans designed to achieve or surpass budgeted goals for Net Income Before Tax, increase Braemac's market share, maximize gross profit returns and control operating costs through continuous productivity improvements in all activities.
The role is responsible for collaborating with other senior executives to ensure that Braemac and Exponential Technology Group (XTG) achieve strategic objectives.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develops and oversees the implementation and measurement of strategic plans designed to achieve and surpass sales, market share, profitability, cash flow, operating cost control and business objectives.
- Evaluates objectives for all departments under area of responsibility to ensure alignment with overall organizational business objectives.
- Motivates, leads and empowers a strong management team consistent with strategic needs of the organization. Ensures that Braemac has the management talent required to support its planned growth objectives by developing and implementing succession planning initiatives.
- Maintains Braemac’s “best-in-class” position for products with customer base and supplier community by operating within Total Quality Management environment of Continuous Improvement throughout all areas of responsibility.
- Develops, manages, and strengthens working relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure that Braemac has a supplier network that consistently provides cost effective, and competitively priced, products that meet customer needs and sales growth requirements.
