WHAT TO BRING :
As General Manager you will be the life-blood of this already award-winning Venue. You will be responsible for driving and delivering the annual operational plans for the overall management of the venue, including food and beverage operations, functions, people management, finance and reporting, stock management and workplace health and safety.
YOU :
Come from a strong hospitality background fostered around bars, entertainment and food, with at least 5 years' experience in a General Manager's role. You have a proven track record in meeting and exceeding targets in revenue and profitability in a similarly large venue.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Create an engaged, motivated and high performing team with a strong positive culture and minimal staff turnover
- RMLV & Approved Managers Licence
- RSA & RSG
- Excellent food and beverage knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Managing entertainment and performers
- Strong knowledge of QLD Liquor compliance requirements
- A passion for and demonstrated experience in great customer service
- Experience in a high-volume food and beverage sales environment
- Demonstrate the ability to relate to a diverse customer mix
- Mature manner and calm under pressure
- Experience in managing licensed venue security
- Hands on approach and lead from the front
- A thorough working knowledge of the Hospitality Industry (General) Award
