With a newly appointed CEO who has considerable depth of digital experience in the retail sector, we are building out our senior executive leadership team, who collectively will lead our teams to deliver on our ambitious growth plans. This role joins our executive working collaboratively with our senior Finance, People, Sales & Marketing leaders, as we scale for our next chapter of expansion.
The Opportunity
Reporting to our CEO, we have an incredible opportunity for the General Manager of Operations to provide senior leadership of our national operations team, driving excellence and operational efficiencies through our after sales operations functions. The role requires leadership of geographically dispersed teams, high levels of commercial acumen, complex problem solving and a thirst to deliver high impact, change programs through your function, as we grow.
- Build an operational plan for executing strategic initiatives through the operations functions
- Senior leadership of teams - order processing, scheduling, logistics, installation & warehousing teams, with additional responsibilities in supply chain management and safety
- Foster a safety first culture and maintain an environment of zero harm through
- Utilise insights and analytics and depth of experience to identify operational improvements through processes and systems to bring efficiencies and improve our effectiveness internally and through our value chain
- Support the implementation of new technologies that bring significant benefit to our operational processes and deliver excellence for our customers
About You
- You are a strategic operations leader, with demonstrated success in the senior leadership of geographically dispersed operations teams
- Depth of operations experience in a similar / related industry is preferred – eCommerce / Retail / Construction / FMCG
- You have proof points of building high performing teams, and leading others through exciting change programs
- You are comfortable flexing between strategic contribution and operational delivery – this is a highly visible, hands-on role requiring comfort in working at pace
- Experience in implementing new technologies will be valued
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with a capacity to engage with a wide-range of stakeholders
