The Opportunity
As a General Managerat Dexus you will be responsible for Galleria & 385 Bourke Street, high level Office Tower and Retail Centre. This role will be responsible in managing one direct report, Assistant Property Manager with one indirect report, Retail Manager to deliver high level service across the assets. Aligning closely with the Divisional Portfolio Manager to develop property investment strategies to meet owner objectives, providing framework to optimise customer experience and property returns.
You will make an impact by:
- Driving financial and non-financial performance of the property.
- Work closely with Divisional Portfolio Manager on development of property investment strategies to meet Owner objectives.
- Set strategic objectives for the property and prepare and implement annual Asset Management business plans.
- Involvement in CAPEX positioning and strategy.
- Set strategy across leasing and existing tenancy, negotiating, and overseeing all renewal leasing and rent reviews across the property.
- Maintain and develop key customer relationships and retention strategies.
- Lead and coach team to drive a customer centric approach and culture of achievement, accountability, agility, and high engagement.
- Strategic focus across sustainability initiatives and communication.
About You
- Tertiary qualified in business, economics, property economics, finance or related area.
- General Manager experience working in commercial office Property Management across institutional or agency organisations.
- Demonstrated understanding of real estate valuation.
- Strong knowledge of property markets and investments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- High level of experience in negotiation mediation, conflict management and customer retention.
- Team leadership experience.
