Highclere Hospitality is on the hunt for a General Manager for Charing Cross Hotel in Waverley.

Successful candidates will have;
- Oversee all operational requirements of the business
- Lead a dynamic & motivated team
- Create & instill a culture of superior service
- Manage costs & drive revenue growth.
- Manage all aspects of TAB & the gaming room
- Manage budgets & interpret financial information in liaison with senior managers
- Deliver all HR requirements for a business. This includes, but is not limited to recruitment, performance evaluation of team, assistance with visas for staff when required and training staff to ensure they follow house policies.
- Oversee operations all bars and food service
- Managing administration aspects of the business
- Set policies and procedures at the venue in liaison with senior leaders
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
- Manage stock levels for the venue, in laison with the owner, bar manager, senior leaders and external parties to ensure against theft, misrecorded sales and overpouring of standard beverages.
- Work with senior leaders to constantly improve systems and search for efficiencies embracing available technology
