GENERAL MANAGER

Our new YBG General Manager will be an expert communicator with a strong ability to delegate responsibility and collaborate across a range of businesses. As a plus, you will have experience in overseeing business operations as well as human resources, finance, and communications. Ultimately, our General Manager will be driven by a desire to lead our businesses to maximum productivity and efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
1. Leadership:
- Works closely with the Board to develop and set YBG’s organisational vision, and fosters a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Establishes high performance standards and leads by example.
2. Team Motivation:
- Inspires and communicates YBG’s company mission while fostering employee engagement.
- Recognises achievements and provides support for professional development across the entire organisation.
3. Sales and Marketing:
- Develops strategic plans to drive revenue growth and enhance brand visibility.
- Identifies market opportunities and implements effective marketing campaigns for growth.
4. Financial Management:
- Monitors financial performance and prepares key reports for analysis.
- Makes data-driven decisions to optimise resource allocation and ensure compliance.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education:
o Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
2. Certifications:
o CPA/CA may be advantageous and other relevant certifications that add value.
3. Experience:
o Demonstrated leadership in service-based businesses.
o Strong business development and strategic planning skills.
o Familiarity with regulatory compliance.
4. Skills:
o Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
o Commitment to ethical conduct and confidentiality.
While accounting experience is not mandatory, leadership in service industries and strategic planning are crucial, along with adherence to ethical standards.
