Due to some recent staff changes, we are looking to appoint a new Operations Manager to manage our Orange based team. The role will allow us to continue providing high quality service to local businesses that we have supported for many years.
This role will be highly autonomous, and will give the right candidate an opportunity to positively influence the culture of the existing team, with the support of the management team throughout Australia. What will you be doing?
You will be calling on your previous operations and management experience, whilst using the skills and techniques we will teach you, to achieve company objectives. You will be working as part of an enthusiastic team with the objective to meeting set KPI’s. Specifically, you will:
- Control, manage and provide a superior service delivery to our clients
- Manage Branch operations, labour and vehicle resources in order to achieve delivery and service objectives
- Manage and lead the personnel on site, ensuring adherence to standard procedures
- Maintain a safe working environment for all personnel
- Manage operational costs against budgets and targets as set by the General Manager
- Manage and maintain property, plant and site security
- Manage large logistical projects including transportation of large numbers of cartons and the destruction of large amounts of paper
What you must have to apply for this role:
- Minimum 5 years High Level Operational Management experience
- Proven organizational/planning ability
- The ability to liaise with sales, admin and operational personnel
- Computer literacy
- Outstanding customer service focus
- Leadership and problem solving skills
