Golden Plains Wind Farm - Riggers/Operators/ Technicians

Professional Wind Services are assisting Vestas on the delivery of Stage 1 Golden Plains Wind Farm Project.

Located just 60kms north-west from Geelong, Golden Plains consists of 122 V162 - 6.2MW EnVentus WTG’s and is set to be one of Vestas largest onshore Wind Farms in Asia/Pacific. 

Activities include, but are not limited to:

• Pre-assembly
• Turbine erection
• LV and HV cabling
• Pre-commissioning and commissioning electrical systems
• Mechanical components

Prerequisites:

• GWO Certificate including working at heights, safety, manual handling, CRP/LV rescue, fire awareness and first aid (or willingness to obtain)
• Drivers Licence
• White Card
• Australian Citizen or valid right to work in Australia
• Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
• Literate with PC and modern technologies to support your day to day work
• Great people/communication skills and able to work in a team
• Previous wind industry experience
• Vestas turbine experience and tickets

Desirable:

• Current Unrestricted Electrical License 
• Mechanical trades
• Intermediate/Advanced Rigging
• High Risk Work Licensing: Dogging/Working Platform/CN
• Living locally or DIDO
