The City of South Perth (the City) is seeking applications from candidates to undertake the position of Golf Course Greenkeeper to join the Parks & Environment Business Unit.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of activities involved in the horticultural maintenance and upkeep of the greens at Collier Park Golf Course. The Golf Course Greenkeeper will perform general course maintenance duties including mowing, bunker care, fairway care and greens care and participate in relevant course development or landscape project work.
To be successful in this position you need to demonstrate;
Essential:
- Certificate III in Horticulture (Turf Management) and/or relevant experience
- Sound working knowledge of turf preparation and maintenance
- Working knowledge of fertilising and weed spraying requirements
- Exercise good interpersonal and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements as they relate to the responsibilities of the position
- Current 'C' class Western Australian Drivers Licence
Desirable:
- Experience in tractor and front end loader operation
- Experience working within a similar environment
- Provide First Aid Certificate
- Completion of a Pesticide Safety Course
This permanent position is a level 3 which attracts a salary of $63,879 - $75,500 gross per annum plus superannuation.
