We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer focused Governance Officer to join our team on either a part time or full time basis in this newly created role.
The Governance Officer will work closely with all areas of Council to ensure compliance in a range of governance tasks including delegations, leases and licences, insurance, Community Asset Committees and risk support.
The ideal candidate will have a background in governance, or a strong administrative background working with systems and processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, an ability to effectively manage priorities and maintain confidentiality will be required.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake a National Police Check.
