Searson Buck is currently seeking an experienced Governance Specialist to join our valued client's organisation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring commitment to the highest standards of governance and compliance.
This position involves developing and implementing governance frameworks, policies, and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and best practices. The Specialist will work closely with senior management to ensure effective risk management, quality improvement, and strategic decision-making in providing exceptional care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Governance Framework Development:
- Develop and implement robust governance frameworks aligning with legislation, standards, and industry best practices.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Monitor and report on compliance with aged care laws, regulations, and standards.
- Identify potential risk areas and develop effective strategies for risk mitigation.
- Conduct regular audits, promptly addressing any identified deficiencies.
Quality Improvement:
Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives in governance processes.
Collaborate with management to integrate governance practices into organizational culture and operations.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and present comprehensive reports on governance activities to senior management and relevant committees.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of governance procedures and compliance activities.
