Graduate Accountant - Smsf

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and detail oriented professional to join our team in our Surfers Paradise office as a Graduate SMSF Accountant.

The Role

Working within our Accounting team, you will be providing high quality accounting services to further add value to service we provide to our clients.

• Support in preparing and analysing financial reports and tax returns for SMSFs.

• Assist in organising SMSF statutory documents, like trust deeds and investment strategies.

• Perform data processing tasks using Class Super as needed.

• Manage documents and filing procedures.

• Contribute to maintaining workflow processes and filing systems.

• Update client information in internal and external systems for accuracy.

• Collaborate with auditors and external service providers when necessary.

• Handle additional administrative tasks as assigned

About you

You are a high achiever with strong academic results in your accounting degree. You have a keen interest in SMSF accounting and want to learn from the best.

• Recent completion of undergraduate accounting degree

• A genuine interest in SMSF Accounting

• General understanding of accounting terms

• Proficient IT skills

• Strong organisational abilities and proactive initiative

• Excellent communication skills, self motivation and a great eye for detail.

• Values-driven by nature, you can demonstrate the link between values and work output

• Showing initiative, taking ownership and proactively thinking of solutions to problems
