About the role
This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate who is passionate and eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment. This role will give you the opportunity to expand your technical knowledge, acquire business knowledge and be mentored by an experienced team of developers.
You will work closely with our team of experienced developers providing high quality development services across our application platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting high quality, well performing products for Mainpac and its clients.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Convert designs and specifications into product using defined development methodologies and workflow.
- Analysis of existing code to identify possible causes of defects.
- Test programs and correct errors detected.
- Provide technical assistance to other team members and departments.
- Update and maintain knowledge of applications, current trends and business technical requirements in the IT industry.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Sound understanding of programming principles, development methodologies and tool sets (Microsoft .Net Framework, C# and web development)
- Understanding of database principles and database environment, experience with MS SQL Server would be beneficial
- Sound understanding of Distributed Systems (n-tier) Architecture
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
- Solid communication and teamwork skills
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
