The reason for this role:
- To assist the Associate Counsel and generally the GWA Legal Team with research, drafting and other legal work.
- Ensure compliance with GWAs regulatory requirements.
- Building and maintaining key relationships with other business units.
- Conducting administrative matters including but not limited to management of the procurement. legal contract management system and external legal fee payment system.
What you will be doing?
- Supporting the Legal team
- Facilitate and work with internal stakeholders on the management of a recently rolled out procurement/legal contract system.
- Preparation of confidentiality agreements and contracts.
- Internal approvals and execution of documents.
What does your background look like?
- You must have a tertiary qualification in law.
- A graduate Diploma of Legal Practice is an advantage.
- 0 – 1 years’ Legal experience in an office environment (e.g. paralegal).
- Experience working in renewable energy industry is a advantage but not a necessity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly detail-oriented and organised in work. Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
- Ability to work to a deadline and achieve objectives.
- Mandarin speaking (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities accordingly.
