SalaryIndustrial Demolition Services (IDS) is one of Australia’s leading demolition contractors, specialising in complex demolition services and solutions. We're looking for a Graduate Project Engineer to join our expert demolition team.
The Role:Working with all levels of the organisation and liaising directly with clients and suppliers, you’ll be involved in a range of tasks from tender stage through to project completion. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you’ll split your time between various projects sites and our Airport West office.
As our Graduate Project Engineer, you'll be instrumental in:
- Preparation of project documentation (including OHS&E plans)
- Assisting in tendering & contract administration
- Subcontractor and supplier selection and management
- Assisting the project team with adhoc administration
- A natural problem-solver with acute attention to detail.
- High level digital literacy (MS Word, Excel, and Project)
- Exceptional organization and record keeping ability
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to build working relationships with people at all levels
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant Engineering discipline
- Construction experience is desirable but not essential.
- Reliable vehicle and driver’s license essential
- Candidates must be able to work in Australia at the time of application, and must be willing to travel as required
- Full time permanent role, Monday – Friday
