Group Financial Accountant

Our client is a leading international services group listed on the ASX. Their customers include Fortune 500 companies along with other multinationals, public sector, SME’s and professional services firms. The business has experienced rapid growth through successful acquisitions and mergers expanding throughout Asia Pacific and wider international markets.  

A rare opportunity has arisen for a hands-on and experienced Group Financial Accountant to make headway in their career in this key role within the business. The roles provides a range of financial support and effective business partnering for the group and its various business units in Australia and internationally. 

We are looking for a rising star making their second move from chartered or an industry trained CA/CPA with international consolidation, foreign currency and possibly acquisition accounting experience. 

Reporting to the Group Reporting Manager the responsibilities include: 

• Preparation of the consolidation for the Group 
• Audit and preparation of ASX reporting 
• Preparation of monthly reporting packs 
• Assisting with budget process 
• Maintaining the general ledger including month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations 

Requirements: 

• Accounting degree with CA/CPA qualification 
• Demonstrated 5 years relevant experience 
• Desire to accelerate your career by working hard in a high performing business 
• Professional services industry experience (desirable) 
• Previous knowledge of D365 (desirable)
