The Role
A highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance is needed to join this forward-thinking team. This role is pivotal to the organisations continued growth and success, involving strategic financial management, planning, and analysis. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in finance leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the financial strategy of the company.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Manage cash flow and working capital.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors.
• Oversee tax planning and compliance.
• Manage financial risks, including foreign exchange and interest rate exposures.
• Mentor and develop the finance team structure and people - fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess a CPA or CA qualification and have a very solid and proven track record within Senior Finance leadership roles. Proven experience in a multinational organisation undertaking projects such as system upgrades, team restructures, overhauling internal controls is essential. A background of working in industries that have high transactions, are fast paced and complex is imperative. In this organisation, there are many internal and external touch points that need to be considered at all times. Excellent analytic, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills are required and a history of leading and developing teams is crucial.
