The Point Brisbane Hotel is a leading independent hotel conveniently situated in the exclusive inner-city village of Kangaroo Point, embraced by the CBD and New Farm reaches of the Brisbane River, a brief ferry ride from the city heart.
The Role:
As a Guest Service Agent, you are the face of the hotel and the first point of call for our guests. We are looking for a customer focused problem solver, someone that takes pride in surprising and delighting our guests!
You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth daily running of our Front Office whilst completing daily tasks and duties, such as checking in and out guests, assisting with reservations and conversions, and providing concierge services. You will play a vital role in the overall success of the Front Office department. Time management skills will be key, as you will often work in a fast pace, dynamic environment, with a passionate and professional Front Office team.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a 4 or 5-star Hotels
- Experience using Opera PMS would be advantageous
- An open manual driver’s licence
- Ability to work various shifts across a rotating roster including mornings, evenings and weekends
- Have exceptional personal presentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- And have a friendly and outgoing disposition
